Planning your wedding is an exhilarating journey, and selecting the perfect cake is one of the most delightful parts. At Bloom and Crumb, I strive to make this experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Here's a friendly guide to walk you through our seamless process of creating your dream wedding cake.
1. Initial Enquiry
First and foremost, congratulations on your engagement! This is a special time, and I'm thrilled you're considering Bloom and Crumb for your wedding cake. To get started, please fill out our enquiry form. This form helps me understand your wedding details and your vision for the cake. I limit the number of weddings I take on each year to ensure I can provide dedicated attention to each couple. Once I receive your enquiry, I'll review it to determine if we're a good fit and then invite you to a consultation.
2. Consultation
Our consultation is a relaxed and enjoyable experience, typically held via Google Meet for your convenience. During this session, we'll discuss all aspects of your wedding and cake preferences. We'll explore various design options, flavours, and any inspirations you have in mind. To keep things fun, I like to include a little game to spark creativity. This collaborative discussion allows us to craft a bespoke cake design that reflects your unique love story.

3. Design Creation
After our consultation, I'll get to work on creating a detailed cake design proposal for you. This visual representation will help you envision the final product. Along with the design, I'll provide a provisional invoice and a contract outlining all the details. You'll have access to a personalised portal where you can view all documents and our correspondence, ensuring transparency and easy communication.
4. Tasting Experience
Tasting your wedding cake is an essential and enjoyable part of the process. I offer sample boxes that you can order and have delivered to your home. This allows you and your partner to savour various flavours at your leisure and select the ones you love most for your special day.
5. Confirmation and Booking
To secure your wedding date, a 50% deposit is required upon agreement of the proposal. The remaining balance is due two months before your wedding. For last-minute bookings, full payment is necessary upfront. Once the contract is signed and payments are made, you can relax and trust that your wedding cake is in capable hands.
6. Trust and Execution
With the design finalised and flavours chosen, you can trust me to bring your vision to life. On your wedding day, I'll ensure the cake is delivered and set up perfectly, creating a stunning centrepiece that you and your guests will adore.
